The parental control features behind these guides

Every guide on this page describes something TheTruthSpy does, so when one of them tells you to set a bedtime, block a category of sites or watch for a particular word, you can follow along in the same panel. The two tools the guides lean on most are screen time limits, with daily budgets, per-app limits and bedtime schedules, and the web filter, which blocks adult sites and enforces Safe Search. GPS tracking, text and call logs have pages of their own.

The Snapchat, Instagram and WhatsApp guides draw on social media monitoring, which works from notifications and raises keyword alerts. TheTruthSpy has no keylogger: alerts on notifications cover the useful part of that job in the open.

All of it is free. The feature overview lists every tool, and the setup guide takes about ten minutes.
