What we collect, why, how we protect it, and the choices you have.

We encrypt the information TheTruthSpy collects, keep it locked behind your password, and let you delete it whenever you choose. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. TheTruthSpy is intended only for lawful monitoring of your own devices, your minor children, or consented company devices.
This Privacy Policy explains how TheTruthSpy ("we", "us") handles information in connection with our website, applications and services (the "Service"). It applies both to you as the account holder and to the data gathered from a device you have chosen to monitor in accordance with our Terms.
We collect information in the following categories:
We use information to provide and maintain the Service, deliver the monitoring features you enable to your private dashboard, process payments, provide support, keep the Service secure, comply with legal obligations, and improve our products. We do not sell your personal information.
When you use TheTruthSpy to monitor a device, you are responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to do so. You act as the controller of the monitored-device data within your account, and you are responsible for using it lawfully and for informing or obtaining consent from users where the law requires. We process that data on your behalf to provide the Service.
We use technical and organisational measures designed to protect information, including encryption in transit and at rest and access controls that restrict your dashboard to you. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your data and to limit access to it.
We retain monitored-device data for the period associated with your plan, after which older data may be rotated out. You can delete your data from the Control Panel at any time, and you may request deletion of your account. When you delete data or close your account, we remove it in line with this policy, except where we are required to retain certain records by law.
We share information only as needed to operate the Service: with trusted service providers (such as payment processors and hosting providers) who act on our behalf under appropriate obligations; where required by law or valid legal process; and to protect the rights, safety and security of our users and the public. We do not sell personal information to third parties.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal information, and to object to certain processing. You can exercise many of these directly from your account, or by contacting us. We will respond in accordance with applicable law.
The Service is intended for use by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children as account holders. Where a parent or guardian uses the Service to monitor a minor child's device, that monitoring is the responsibility of the parent or guardian under our Terms.
We may process and store information in countries other than where you live. Where we transfer information internationally, we take steps to ensure it receives an appropriate level of protection in accordance with applicable law.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the "last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
